HOWDY! Our health changed dramatically in July 1998 with the discovery of a new way to eat based upon our blood type! For the prior 6 years we had been on a low-fat diet diet and done nothing but gain weight and inches to the point that we were both the FATEST and BIGGEST AROUND that we had ever been in our lives. In addition both Lisa and I also had a list of other ailments that we had learned to live with. Dr. D'adamo's Father first discovered this concept over 30 years ago, as he was treating heart patients and severe diabetes patients. He observed that each blood type responded differently to his treatments and further noticed he could control the patients depending upon what they ate. It took Dr. D'adamo the last 15 years researching the connections among blood type, food, and disease.

Lisa and I are both O's which makes life much easier with us being the same blood type.

If you think of what cavemen ate, then you pretty much have what we eat today. Hunter-gatherers ate meat and green leafy plants with deserts of nuts and berries. A very basic food source is what is the best for us...which means NO processed foods whatsover.

TYPE O'S
Original Blood Type

The original blood type diet of the Earth are the "hunter-gatherers".

  • Eat Meat (High Protein, Low Carbohydrates)
  • Cut out Wheat and Most Other Grains
  • Engage in Vigorous aerobic Exercise
  • Your risk factors for ulcers and inflammatory diseases such as arthritis if you eat incorrectly for your type.

TYPE A's
Agrarian Blood Type

A's appeared on Earth, between 25,000 and 15,000 B.C. years ago in response to new environmental conditions....the advent of agriculture.

  • You should be a vegetarian (High Carbohydrates, Low Fat)
  • Engage in gentle exercise such as yoga or golf.
  • Meditate to deal with stress.
  • Your risk factors for cancer and heart disease increase if you eat incorrectly.

TYPE B's
Balanced Blood Type

Evolved sometime between 15,000 and 10,000 B.C. and are a combination of A and O. This blood type emerged as a result of the migration of the races from the African homeland to Europe, Asia, and the Americas and may of mutated due to climactic changes. B's diet is a combination of A's and O's

  • You should have the most varied diet of all the blood types, including meat. This is the only blood type that does well with dairy products.
  • Engage in exercise such as moderate swimming or walking.
  • Your risk factors for slow-growing viruses that attack the nervous system increases if you eat incorrectly.

TYPE AB's
Modern Blood Type

Emerged only in the last 1,000 years as a result of the intermingly of disparate groups such as Type A caucasians with Type B Mongolians. Less than 5% of the Earth's population has this blood type.

  • You have most of the benefits and intolerances of types A & B.
  • Engage in calming exercises and relaxation techniques.
  • You have the friendliest immune system of all the blood types.

Allergies

Severe Allergies are Completely gone! None in 2 years.

High Blood Pressure

This 30 year problem returned to normal after the first week!! It is still at 120/80 with NO medication!

High Cholesterol

From 278 before discovering ER4YT to 237 as of 1/27/00. My ratio is 5.0 down from 7.0 This has occured while eating animal protein and fat. My former doctor indicated that this diet would not lower my cholesterol. Since March 1, 2000 we have reduced our red meat consump;tion to 2-3 servings per week. I am scheduled for another cholesterol test in May 2001.

Immune System

First winter NO flu, NO colds, No sickness of any kind. Second winter had a light cold for 3 days. Third winter absolutely healthy.

Severe Sleep Apnea

Completely gone! I no longer require the use of a breathing device (CPAP) to sleep at night!

Snoring

While it is not completely gone, it is much lighter and sometimes is non-existent especially when no wine has been consumed.

Energy Level

Incredibly energetic with average of 7 hours per night sleep (I used to sleep 9 hours)!

Impotentency

Mainly due to side effects of the blood pressure medication...but since I don't need it any longer the results feel like I am taking Viagra!!

Flatulence

Absolutely none, even if we eat beans!

Aging.

This will be hard for some of you to believe but my beard is coming in black! The above picture shows my beard almost entirely white in 1995 but today it looks a medium gray as about 25% of the new growth is now black! I began to notice individual black hairs growing in May 1999 (10 months after start of EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE lifestyle and 6 months after the elimination of aspartame).

PH Factor

It is now at 6.8 which is absolutely normal

Weight Loss

28 pounds (163 to 135)

Waist Reduction

4.5 inches

Immune System

First winter with NO flu, NO colds, 2nd winter had a severe case of the flu. 3rd winter with NO flu, NO colds.

Energy Level

More energy in 2001 than previous years!

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

This chronic 40 year condition did not clear up over night but did show signs of improvement the very first month. It took about 9 months for the body to completely heal itself and she now has very normal BM and no indigestion problems at all.

Flatulence

Absolutely none, even if we eat beans!

Aging.

Their is new brown hair growing where it hasn't in years!

We have had tremendous communication as a result of this website. We continually receive emails about similar results as we are having. One of the questions that is asked of us...What is your normal diet consist of?

While almost everything is on our neutral or highly benefitial list, coffee is not. We however have not been able to eliminate it and have done very well leaving it in our diet. We basically drink two cups of half decaf and half regular ground each morning.

We believe that the main reason for these astounding results are a direct relationship to eliminating WHEAT from our diet! According to Dr. D'adamo, WHEAT is like poison to the type O blood type. It particularly effects allergies and high blood pressure not to mention indigestion problems. One of our friends had severe allergies and was being treated with multi techniques for years with no success. 3 days after he gave up WHEAT, the allergies began to dissipate!! My challenge to you is to simply give up WHEAT for ONE week and see how your body responds! WHEAT is everywhere and in everything...you MUST read labels! We have shared this approach with many of our friends and always the same startling results occur.

In fact our immune systems are now stronger than they have ever been and our bodies have returned to a condition that reminds us of a much earlier age! We are in such good health that we CANCELLED out Health Insurance Policy! (Lisa just turned 67 and is now on Medicare, however Bryce is now 60 and a few years away from Medicare).
